Current Beta status
The current development preview uses synthetic test profiles. It is not authorised to collect real child data or publicly process family accounts. Production providers, final retention periods and the legal controller identity will be confirmed before external Beta.
Our principles
- Collect only what is necessary for a clear learning, safety or account purpose.
- No sale of child data, behavioural advertising, public child profiles or commercial vulnerability profiling.
- Learning stage never grants adult permission, purchase authority or legal consent.
- Guardian consent is purpose-specific, understandable, recorded and withdrawable.
- Children receive age-appropriate explanations of what happens to their information.
Information a future governed Beta may use
- Guardian account and verified contact details.
- A minimal child profile such as display name or nickname, age band, learning stage and language preference.
- Learning questions, attempts and feedback needed to provide the session.
- Consent, permission and policy records.
- Minimum safety, security and support records when required.
Information we do not need by default
Precise location, address book, public profile, advertising ID, passive microphone access, medical diagnosis, hidden personality or intelligence scores, and unnecessary device identifiers are outside the intended core service.
AI and service providers
The local preview can use a protected development AI connection with synthetic questions. No provider is approved for real-child production processing merely because it is used in development. Providers, locations, retention, training restrictions and transfers will be disclosed after formal review.
Retention and security
Information must not be kept longer than its documented purpose requires. Access is role-based, sensitive actions are logged, secrets remain on the backend and child learning content is kept separate from billing data. “Keep everything for safety” is not an acceptable retention rule.
Your rights and choices
Approved users will be able to request access, correction, export, consent withdrawal and deletion through understandable English and Chinese journeys. Visit the Data deletion page for the planned process.
Contact and updates
A verified privacy/support contact will be published before Closed Beta. Material changes will show a version and effective date; new purposes will not be silently added.
